The 7 Lakes Race is a 20+km race, with over 1000m elevation gain, from the bottom of lake 1 to the top of lake 7 of the Ҳафт Кӯл (7 Lakes) series of lakes near Panjikent, Tajikistan. We welcome anyone to come and join us – whether you want to compete for the Fastest Known Time (FKT) on the route, or you simply want to enjoy a challenging hike in the stunning mountains.
The race fee to participate is 250TJS per participant. Transport, accommodation and catering is all separate. The race fee covers water stations, access to first-aid, race-day photography and a participation memento.
The race is organised in partnership between Iroda and Central Asian Partnership. Iroda’s work focuses on supporting children with autism in Tajikistan. CAP is a local community development NGO and in relation to this race is focused on supporting and developing rural tourism development. Money raised from the entry fee of this race will go toward Iroda’s current projects.
